Air Ambulance Gains Planning Permission
CBP Architects have successfully gained planning permission for the construction of the new flying headquarters of the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance at RAF Waddington.
The charity funded service began operating in April 1994 and each year they fly approximately 1000 missions. Being airborne means they aren’t held up by small country roads or traffic congestion and can reach anywhere in Nottinghamshire or Lincolnshire within 20 minutes.
The project will see the staff move from their current 1940’s built structure to a new, bespoke, modular building, with office, training and ancillary accommodation in line with current standards.
We anticipate construction work will commence shortly and look forward to continuing our support of the project.
